The Real Story Behind the Smart Collar Founder, And How It Began!
Hello everyone, my name is JP Pampena, the Smart Collar Founder. I know my story may sound farfetched, but I swear it is all true. It all began 20 years ago way before I knew a pet Collar was going to help change my dog’s life.
It all started when My beautiful and handsome black lab Ricky was detected with a tumor in his left shoulder. Next to my beloved wife, Ricky was my best friend and trusted confidant, he became my eyes for 14 of those 20 years. yes, you read right. I am totally blind. Ricky was my guide dog. although I felt completely helpless when I learned of his sickness, I was determined to help Ricky whichever way I could. It was pretty frightening at first when Ricky’s veterinarian Doctor Bell at The Bathurst Animal Clinic informed me that Ricky had a tumor growth in his left shoulder, and Ricky only had 3 to 4 months to live. Well, you can just imagine how shocked and distraught I was considering Ricky was my best friend I really counted on his eyesight to guide me through life. I completely broke down in tears and cried like a little baby while Ricky was licking my face as if nothing at all was wrong. Well, naturally as any pet owner would do for their pet is to try to find a miracle cure or remedy to save your pet’s life, which I did. I found a natural pathic doctor who suggested I try using magnetic energy forces to help shrink Ricky’s tumor. His name was Doctor Chin, He went on to explain how the Chinese people have been using magnetic energy fields for the past 2000 years. The Chinese people truly believe that magnetic energy forces can help alleviate pain, and align the body, clear the mind, and in some cases have proven that magnetic energy fields can also work on shrinking and slowing down the growth of a tumor. Although I knew I was grasping at straws, All I knew is that I had to try my best to help save Ricky’s life, so I once again set up an appointment with Ricky’s vet Doctor Bell to discuss what his thoughts were about me trying to treat Ricky’s tumor with magnetic energy fields. As far as Doctor Bell was concerned since Ricky only had a few months to live, Ricky and I really had nothing to lose, so he gave us his blessings, and away I went trying to save Ricky’s life. Thanks to Doctor chin’s direction I was able to obtain some special Micro Ionic Chips, however, the challenge ahead was how to keep them on Ricky’s body. This had become a big problem trying to keep these magnetic chips on Ricky’s shoulder. Strangely enough, while Ricky was fighting this tumor, he was doing less shedding, when according to clinical studies Ricky should have really been feeling sluggish and definitely losing lots of hair because of his disease. When I explained this to Doctor Bell. The only explanation he could think of was the magnetic energy fields were probably providing Ricky with an increase in blood flow which in turn was keeping his hair follicles alive and healthier for a longer period of time. Other than this he had no other reasonable theory which I didn’t really care as long as I could still continue to have Ricky in my life.
This is when I first realized that I had stumbled across something really good for pets. Believe it or not, my story gets even stranger! Back then our housekeeper Miss. Leah, approached me, and asked me if I was having anyone else come in to clean on her day off? I asked her why in the world would you ask me that question? Believe it or not, It almost turned into a big fight between us till it all got straightened out a few weeks later. She went on to explain she was not vacuuming and sweeping as often as she used to. It finally dawned on me that the special collar I had especially made for Ricky had not just helped shrink his tumor, But, was also helping reduce the amount of pet hair Ricky was losing from his coat, this was especially puzzling considering people with tumors usually lose hair not keep it or maintain it. Fortunately, there was a happy ending to my story, and that was that the creation of my Smart Collar gave me the opportunity to have Ricky in my life for 3 and a half more years before he finally passed away. In conclusion After this entire experience, I truly realized how much love a pet owner has for their pets. The feeling of a lost pet never really fades away. In fact, it took me 6 years to finally get enough courage to clean out Ricky’s basement closet, and low and behold. I came across Ricky’s special magnetic collar hanging on the wall along with his guide dog working harness. It was then when all those memories of Ricky came back and made me think of how much it helped him.
